New guidelines for interfaith education in the schools of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne have been published by the Victorian Ecumenical and Interfaith Commission. They are a useful interfaith relations and education tool. Addressed to both principals and teachers, they support learning and teaching in Catholic schools in a multi-faith, multicultural society. The guidelines provide a guide to the development of teachers’ skills in this area and provide useful suggestions and resources to assist school leaders and classroom teachers.
