Sr Marianne Dacy’s latest book, Winds of Change, traces the pivotal role of the Catholic Sisters of Sion in the improvement of relations between Jews and Christians in Australia.

Shirley Sedawie and other Sisters of Sion established the Centre for Jewish/Christian dialogue in 1962 and were a major Christian influence in the founding of the first Council of Christians and Jews in Australia. The order continues to be an important player in Jewish Christian relations in Australia.

In Winds of Change, Sr Marianne tells the story of the order in Australia since the arrival of Sisters of Sion in 1890.

You will find an electronic copy of Winds of Change on the Resources page of this website.
