The Australian Council of Christians and Jews (ACCJ) has warm fraternal relations with Councils of Christians and Jews in New Zealand and the Co-Chair of the Wellington Council of Christians and Jews, Rev Jenny Chalmers, has attended a number of ACCJ executive meetings as New Zealand representative. The other Co-Chair of the Wellington CCJ is Rabbi Johanna Hershenon.
Jenny Chalmers has been involved in interfaith relations for many years. She has been a member of the Council of Christians and Jews since 1993. She was convenor of the Auckland Interfaith Council in 2003 and later served as
vice-chair. She is an Anglican priest and Vicar of Carterton.
